About
Built on clinical judgement rather than trends — and deliberately conservative about what it recommends.
Who is behind WellMe
WellMe is a wellness practice founded and led by a licensed, practising physician, with a clinical background in emergency medicine.
Emergency medicine teaches you to separate signal from noise quickly, and to be honest about what isn't yet known. It also shows you the far end of the curve — the outcomes that arrive after years of small, unaddressed things. That contrast is what pointed this practice toward prevention.
WellMe exists for the questions that don't fit into a fifteen-minute appointment. Why your energy dropped. Whether the supplements you're already taking are doing anything. What your labs actually mean beyond “within range.” What's worth changing first.
The practice is growing, and consultations will continue to be delivered only by qualified physicians.
Clinical standards
i.
Recommendations lean on clinical evidence and physiology. Where the evidence is thin, we say so — and treat the recommendation as an experiment with a defined review point rather than a certainty.
ii.
Interactions, existing conditions and current medications are reviewed before anything is added. Some supplements are not appropriate alongside certain drugs, and that check always comes first.
iii.
This is wellness and lifestyle guidance — not a replacement for your doctor. If something belongs with your primary physician or a specialist, we say so plainly and point you there.
iv.
Every consultation is conducted by a qualified physician. No questionnaires scored by software, no plan generated from a quiz result.
v.
Recommendations are made on clinical grounds. Where a specific form or dose matters, we explain why — not because of a commercial relationship.
vi.
Client information is handled in confidence and used solely to provide your consultation. Full terms are set out on the disclaimer page.
The philosophy
The wellness industry rewards volume: more compounds, more tests, more protocols. In practice, most of the benefit comes from a small number of well-established levers — sleep, movement, nutrition, stress load, and the handful of deficiencies or imbalances that actually apply to you.
Supplements sit downstream of those. They can be useful, sometimes considerably so, but they work best as a targeted addition to a foundation that's already in place — not as a substitute for it.
A short plan you follow consistently will always outperform a long one you abandon.
So a WellMe consultation usually ends with a shorter list than people expect. Each item carries a reason, a dose, a timing, and a point at which we check whether it is earning its place.
